Rules for communicating with conscripts being developed for TCC, says officer
The Land Forces of Ukraine are developing rules for conscripts during mobilization events, Vitaliy Sarantsev, a representative of the Armed Forces, said on Feb. 7.
An officer announced efforts to address concerns and prevent the "demonization" of the Territorial Centre of Recruitment (TCC).
"We have implemented a series of measures to identify and resolve shortcomings that hinder effective mobilization activities," said Sarantsev. "This requires significant effort to consider various factors and ensure the process is as swift and efficient as possible."
He added that surveys of servicemen and joint meetings are underway, involving a wide range of participants.
"One solution is to establish specific rules and policies regarding the activities of TCC servicemen during mobilization," the spokesperson for the Ukrainian Armed Forces' Land Forces explained.
Sarantsev emphasized the importance of respectful communication with those liable for military service, particularly during notifications and document processing.
"Respect for citizens, adherence to politeness, and proper conduct should define this process to reduce negativity," he said.
Additionally, the Land Forces aim to establish rules for lawyers who protect the rights of those liable for service.
"We also plan to set guidelines for lawyers working with Ukrainians liable for military service on various issues. This will help clarify expectations and prevent conflicts," Sarantsev concluded.
The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.
Just as an army needs soldiers, so does a free society need its journalists to ensure that people have access to honest, trustworthy voices to understand the world around them.
For the past five years, The New Voice of Ukraine has been working tirelessly to push back against Russian narratives and defend democracy. But we cannot do it alone.
