Ukrainian forces hit radar guiding Russia’s S-400 and ammo depots

Ukraine’s Special Operations Forces said they struck Russian military targets in occupied territories, including an ammunition depot and a radar station, according to a statement posted on Telegram on March 11.
A rocket and artillery ammunition depot was destroyed near Shyroka Balka in Donetsk Oblast, where ammunition continues to detonate after the strike.
In Sevastopol, Ukrainian forces struck a 64N6E radar station along with its antenna, which served as the “eyes” supporting the operation of Russian S-300 and S-400 air defense systems.
In addition, a drone depot was hit in Novozlatopil, while a logistics and supply depot was struck in Marianivka in Zaporizhzhia Oblast.
Ukraine’s Special Operations Forces said Middle Strike operations are carried out at medium distances — reaching several hundred kilometers deep into the occupiers’ rear.
The military also said that members of the resistance movement in temporarily occupied territories helped identify and target the sites.
“The destruction of enemy arsenals, air defense components and logistics depots significantly undermines the enemy’s offensive and defensive capabilities. The Special Operations Forces will continue asymmetric actions aimed at strategically weakening the enemy in its war against Ukraine,” the statement said.
On March 5, it was reported that Special Operations Forces destroyed a deployment site for an S-400 air defense system in Orlivka in Crimea, three fuel depots in Mariupol and Novoamvrosiivske in Donetsk Oblast, and a logistics depot in Amvrosiivka.
