Ukraine strikes Russian drone control relay station in occupied Crimea – General Staff

Ukrainian forces struck a ground-based relay station used to control Russian Geran and Gerbera attack drones near Olenivka in occupied Crimea overnight, Ukraine's General Staff said on Aug. 12.
In addition to the relay station, a Russian repair unit near Mariupol in Donetsk Oblast and a concentration of personnel from a Russian unmanned systems unit near Marivka in Luhansk Oblast were struck overnight Aug. 12.
On Aug. 10, Ukraine's Special Operations Forces said they had struck Russia's largest petrochemical complex, the ZapSibNeftekhim facility in Tobolsk, Tyumen Oblast, more than 2,000 kilometers from Ukraine.
Also on Aug. 10, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces said the Defense Forces had struck the TANECO oil refinery in Nizhnekamsk, in Russia's Republic of Tatarstan.
