Ukraine has successfully deployed a domestically-produced strike drone with a range of 1,000 kilometers, according to Nataliya Sad, the press secretary of the Ukroboronprom defense conglomerate, on June 20.
Sad also shared a photo featuring Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valerii Zaluzhnyi, Ukrainian Air Force Commander Mykola Oleschuk, and Ukroboronprom CEO Yuriy Husyev.
The caption accompanying the photo states, "After successfully utilizing our drone for 1,000 km."
Ukroboronprom reported on October 17, 2022, that the development of the Ukrainian strike drone was in its final stages.
"The range is 1,000 km, and the warhead weighs 75 kg," stated the concern.
"We are concluding the development phase."
On the same day, the Come Back Alive Foundation announced that it was collaborating on a joint project with the Main Intelligence Directorate called "Bavovna in Moscow."
The Ukrainian word "bavovna" (meaning "cotton" in English) is a newly-coined term referring to a loud explosion occurring far behind the frontlines.
