Ukrainian Air Force destroys 17 of 22 Russian attack drones overnight
Ukraine neutralized 17 of the 22 attack drones launched by Russia overnight on March 12, the Ukrainian Armed Forces General Staff reported on Facebook.
"Russian occupying forces once again attacked Ukraine, deploying 22 Shahed UAVs,” the statement said.
“Our air defense forces managed to destroy 17 of these drones."
Air raid alerts were triggered across several Ukrainian oblasts due to the threat of a new Russian attack on the evening of March 11.
Russian aviation dropped a guided bomb on a residential area in Kupyansk, Kharkiv Oblast. The strike partially destroyed a five-story building and sparked multiple fires.
