Ukrainian beer production grows 12.5% despite full-scale war
Ukrainian beer production in the first half of 2023 grew 12.5% compared to the same period last year, the industrial association Ukrpyvo reported.
Ukrainian brewers produced 65.2 million decaliters of beer from January through June 2023, which is 76.9% of the beer brewed in the first six months of 2021.
Ukraine's brewing industry had partly recovered by the end of 2022 following the full-scale Russian invasion, with the total amount of beer brewed amounting to 122.8 million decaliters.
In related news, Rivne Nuclear Power Plant recently announced a tender to purchase 812 malt beers.
