Ukrainian hackers strike Russian university training drone operators
Ukrainian military intelligence cyber specialists launched an attack on the network infrastructure of Russia's North Caucasian Federal University, according to a source reported by NV on Oct. 11.
The North Caucasian Federal University, which trains UAV operators, engineers, and communication specialists for Russia's military, was targeted by Ukrainian military intelligence in a cyberattack that disrupted its internal network, destroying websites, databases, and over 150 terabytes of data.
On Oct. 4, HUR hackers also attacked Russian military suppliers of equipment and uniforms.
