Ukrainian defenders down Russian Mi-24 helicopter, 6 drones, hit artillery unit

Ukrainian forces attacked 21 concentrations of Russian troops, shot down six enemy drones and a helicopter, and destroyed an artillery unit over the past day, the Ukrainian military’s General Staff said in its morning report on Facebook on March 25.
Also over the past day, Ukrainian warplanes carried out 17 strikes on enemy clusters. As well as shooting down a Russian Mi-24 helicopter and six enemy drones of various types, Ukrainian rocket and artillery units hit two command posts, four concentrations of enemy troops, two anti-aircraft missile systems, an ammunition depot, an artillery battery and two electronic warfare stations.
The General Staff said that the enemy is focusing its main efforts on conducting offensive operations on the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiyivka, Maryinka and Shakhtarsk sections of the front. Ukrainian forces repelled 59 enemy attacks.
Over the past day, Russia carried out 50 air and 11 missile strikes, and fired 75 times with multiple launch rocket systems at the positions of Ukrainian troops and civilian infrastructure in settlements, resulting in civilian casualties.
The enemy also fired near the settlement of Horodyshche in Chernihiv Oblast; seven settlements in Sumy Oblast; and 10 settlements in Kharkiv Oblast.
On the Kupyansk and Lyman sections of the front in Luhansk Oblast, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensives in the area of Serebryanske forestry and near the settlements of Hryanikivka, Synkivka, Dibrova, Bilohorivka and Spirne.
The aggressor fired artillery near seven settlements in Kharkiv Oblast; at Stelmakhivka, Nevske, Dibrova and Bilohorivka in Luhansk Oblast, and at Terny and Spirne in Donetsk Oblast.
On the Bakhmut section of the front, the enemy continues to assault the city of Bakhmut, as well as in the areas of Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Bohdanivka, Ivanivske and Stupochky in Donetsk Oblast. Russian forces fired on Bakhmut, Chasiv Yar, Toretsk, and nine other settlements.
On the Avdiyivka, Maryinka and Shakhtarsk sections of the front further south, Russian troops conducted unsuccessful offensives in the direction of Avdiyivka, Maryinka, Vuhledar and four other settlements. Avdiyivka, Maryinka, Vuhledar, and nine other settlements in Donetsk Oblast came under numerous enemy attacks.
On the Zaporizhzhya and Kherson sections of the front in the south of Ukraine, the enemy is on the defensive. At the same time, the aggressor fired at Huliaypole, Orikhiv, and 11 other settlements in Zaporizhzhya, and at Beryslav, the city of Kherson and five other settlements in Kherson Oblast.
