Ukrainian military downs enemy Su-25 attack plane on Tavria front
Ukrainian forces downed an enemy Su-25 attack aircraft on the Tavria front, Oleksandr Tarnavskyi, commander of the Tavria operational group, confirmed on Nov. 2.
“Our troops stand resolute in their defense along the Avdiivka front. The enemy’s offensive efforts in the areas of Novokalynove, Avdiivka, Opytne, and Pervomaiske have proven unsuccessful,” Tarnavskyi said.
Ukrainian forces have reported the destruction of 40 units of enemy military equipment, including six tanks, 11 armored personnel carriers, seven artillery systems, one Su-25 attack aircraft, six unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), eight vehicles, and one piece of special equipment.
On the Tavria front, the occupiers conducted 14 airstrikes, engaged in 30 combat clashes, and carried out 959 artillery shelling attacks.
The enemy’s total losses reportedly amounted to 360 individuals.
The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.
Just as an army needs soldiers, so does a free society need its journalists to ensure that people have access to honest, trustworthy voices to understand the world around them.
For the past five years, The New Voice of Ukraine has been working tirelessly to push back against Russian narratives and defend democracy. But we cannot do it alone.
