Ukrainian Military Intelligence Promises Positive News on Upcoming Prisoner Swaps

Ukraine expects good news on regarding more prisoner swaps with Russia in the near future, Ukrainian Military Intelligence spokesman Andriy Yusov said at a briefing on Aug. 18.
“Ukraine and Russia have already held 48 prisoner swaps, during which almost 2,600 Ukrainian servicemen and civilians returned home,” Yusov said."

ws for the families of our defenders inthe near future."At the same time, some Russian prisoners of war have refused to return to Russia and sided with Ukraine, the spokesman added.
Ukraine must return home all POWs captured by Russia, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in July.
