Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces struck a Tornado MLRS deployment site in occupied Crimea overnight into March 29. The attack destroyed three BM-30 Smerch/Tornado-S launchers and a transloading vehicle, USF Commander Lt. Gen. Robert “Magyar” Brovdi reported on Telegram.

Unmanned Systems Forces fighters attacked a BM-30 Tornado-S MLRS base in Sovkhozne in Crimea. Fuel tankers were also destroyed near Novosvitlivka in Luhansk Oblast in coordination with Ukraine’s SBU Security Service intelligence, Magyar added.

On Feb. 21, the Unmanned Systems Forces destroyed a Russian Tornado-S multiple launch rocket system on a firing position in the temporarily occupied part of Zaporizhzhya Oblast. The Tornado-S has a firing range of up to 120 kilometers.

The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.

Just as an army needs soldiers, so does a free society need its journalists to ensure that people have access to honest, trustworthy voices to understand the world around them.

For the past five years, The New Voice of Ukraine has been working tirelessly to push back against Russian narratives and defend democracy. But we cannot do it alone.
