US training 2,000 Ukrainian troops in Germany – Pentagon
The United States is continuing to conduct military training for Ukrainian soldiers in Germany, Pentagon spokesman General Patrick Ryder said on May 9.
“The training continues in Grafenwoehr,” General Ryder said.
He noted that currently 2,000 Ukrainian soldiers are undergoing training in Germany.
“We will be able to continue to provide this kind of support, this ability to train Ukrainians, as long as there is a need,” the general said.
Ryder stressed that further training will depend on the capabilities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to send people for training.
Meanwhile, UK Parliamentary Under Secretary of State in the Ministry of Defense Dr. Andrew Murrison reported on April 27 that 14,000 Ukrainian troops had undergone training in the United Kingdom.
The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.
Just as an army needs soldiers, so does a free society need its journalists to ensure that people have access to honest, trustworthy voices to understand the world around them.
