Combat medic shares photos of fallen soldiers' watches, urges civilian support
"Life stopped forever… 9:46 a.m., 10:23 a.m., 1:16 p.m., 2:04 p.m… For what?! For whom?!" the combat medic wrote.
“For the ability to see these shots of stopped time on the watches of the fallen, for all those who firmly hold the reliable rear, for those, unfortunately, who count the salaries of soldiers, today their relatives will never receive the promised message 'we are out, we are alive…' because they did not come out, they are now forever in the ranks…”
Vitsik also reminded Ukrainian civilians of the importance of donations and sharing fundraisers for vehicles, generators, electronic warfare equipment, tourniquets, and other necessities, as these collections are "for saved lives."
"It's hard for you to even share a collection because somehow the place in your stories is more important than our lives," Vitsik added.
“The harsh truth of today, while most count our salaries, we find thousands of reasons to win time for life, playing with death. Unfortunately, with such an attitude towards us, the war will last much longer. Indifference does not stop the enemy — indifference kills us… Fight with us while the time on our watches has not stopped…”
