Ukraine to present its plan for 2024 at Munich — Zelenskyy
Kyiv will outline its “vision for this decisive year” at the upcoming Munich Security Conference, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said during his Feb. 12 evening address.
Zelenskyy reported that Ukraine is preparing for the conference, describing the forum as "an important global platform."
“Ukraine will present its vision for this year—a decisive year—the opportunities we all have, all the free nations, which must not be squandered,” said the president.
He also thanked everyone aiding Ukraine—"every leader, every state that wants a just peace just like the Ukrainians."
Earlier on Feb. 12, it was reported that Zelenskyy is preparing to travel to France and Germany to negotiate expedited weapons deliveries, before attending the Munich Security Conference, set to take place on Feb. 16-18.
On Feb. 11, French outlet Challenges reported that French President Emmanuel Macron postponed his visit to Ukraine, initially scheduled for Feb. 14-15, due to security concerns. During the trip, Macron had planned to finalize a bilateral security guarantee agreement with Ukraine.
The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.
Just as an army needs soldiers, so does a free society need its journalists to ensure that people have access to honest, trustworthy voices to understand the world around them.
For the past five years, The New Voice of Ukraine has been working tirelessly to push back against Russian narratives and defend democracy. But we cannot do it alone.
