Ukraine will make the change to Daylight Savings Time this year, as before, at 3:00 a.m. on the last Sunday in March – which is March 26.
Two years ago, the Ukrainian parliament passed a bill (No. 4201) that established a single time zone in Ukraine and scrapped the annual switch to Daylight Savings Time.
However, the scrapping of Daylight Savings Time has since been postponed until at least 2024.
Several countries will join Ukraine in making the move to Daylight Savings Time. As of 8.00 a.m. in Ukraine on March 26, this will be the time in other countries:
- 14.00 – Japan
- 9.00 – Georgia
- 8.00 – Estonia, Moldova, Romania
- 7.00 – Czechia, Germany, Hungary, Norway, Poland, Slovakia, Spain
- 6.00 – Ireland, United Kingdom
- 1.00 – United States (Washington)
