Russian overnight barrage hits Odesa infrastructure and residential buildings

An overnight Russian aerial assault on Odesa damaged a medical facility, a school, and multiple homes on September 24, head of the Odesa City Military Administration Serhii Lysak reported.
Lysak stated that emergency assistance centers are being set up across the city to help residents, adding that first responders and emergency crews are working on the scene.
Air raid sirens sounded across Ukraine overnight on September 24 as Russian forces launched a large-scale drone and missile attack. All the ballistic missiles targeted Kyiv, killing two people and wounding five others. First responders are searching for survivors who may still be trapped under the rubble. The attack also damaged a maternity hospital in the city’s Podilskyi district.
Russian forces previously struck Odesa overnight on September 21, targeting a distribution center belonging to the Ukrainian supermarket chain Silpo.
Russian forces followed up on the night of September 22 by striking Berger Cargo warehouses in the city.
