SBU nabs woman aiding Russian missile strike on Zaporizhzhya

A former Zaporizhzhya Pension Fund employee has been detained on charges of gathering coordinates for a Russian missile attack on the city, Ukraine’s Security Service (SBU) reported on Telegram on Aug. 11.
The woman was recruited after making anti-Ukrainian comments on Telegram channels.
She was caught surveying the area to pinpoint targets including production facilities and power substations that supply Zaporizhzhya factories.
The SBU's counterintelligence service exposed her, documented her communications with her handler, and arrested her while she was photographing a factory power facility.
Her phone contained evidence incriminating her for collaborating with Russia.
She now faces life imprisonment for high treason under Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
On Aug. 10, at least 20 people were injured in a Russian airstrike on a bus station in Zaporizhzhya.
