Zelensky establishes Lysychansk Military Administration and appoints its governor

With the Luhansk Oblast town of Lysychansk coming under increased fire by Russian invasion forces, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has established the Lysychansk Military Administration and appointed Valerii Shybik as its head.

This is stated in the decree dated June 11 published on the website of the Office of the President of Ukraine.

According to the decree, the President instructed the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Luhansk Regional State Administration to take measures related to the establishment of a Lysychansk Military Administration.
