Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has held an “intense three-hour” Commander-in-Chief briefing as “many issues required special attention,” the president’s press service announced on August 4.

Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine General Valery Zaluzhnyi, Commander of the Ground Forces, Colonel General Oleksandr Syrskyi, and Brigadier General Oleksandr Tarnavskyi, presented reports on offensive and defensive operations, logistics and other issues.

The “grain corridor” was also a topic of discussion, the press service said.

“We understand the responsibility we have before the world. We are actively engaging the maximum number of countries to ensure global food stability,” the press service stated.

Reports concerning Ukraine’s grain exports were provided by Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba, Minister of Infrastructure Oleksandr Kubrakov, Commander of the Naval Forces of the Ukrainian Navy, Vice Admiral Oleksiy Neizhpapa, and various intelligence officers.

The development of Ukraine’s military-industrial complex was also addressed during the briefing.

“Minister (of Strategic Industries) Oleksandr Kamyshin also presented a report, highlighting our efforts to streamline procedures for defense enterprises, prioritizing weapons and ammunition over paperwork,” said Zelenskyy.

The use of precision weaponry was also reviewed during the briefing, Zelenskyy said.

“Now is not the time to disclose the details, but we are satisfied with the results.”

The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.
