Zelenskyy may visit Israel next week — report

Israel next week, with preparations for the trip already "at an
advanced stage," The Times of Israel reported on Nov. 3, citing a
broadcast from Israeli Channel 12.
The Ukrainian president may arrive in Israel on Nov. 6 or Nov. 7, the report suggests. Israel's Education Minister Yoav Kisch stated that such a visit would be "an important signal."
Channel 12, citing diplomatic sources, writes that high-level negotiations are ongoing between Israel and Ukraine about Zelenskyy's arrival.
Another Israeli outlet Ynet reports that the final date of the visit is not yet known, but it is expected that Zelenskyy will arrive in Israel next week.
Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spokesman Oleg Nikolenko told NV that the ministry does not comment on the president's foreign trips. Presidential Press Secretary Serhiy Nykyforov stated that the president's office does not announce his schedule since the beginning of the full-scale war.
Earlier, Israeli Ambassador Mykhailo Brodskyy said that the Ukrainian president is a "welcome guest" in Israel and can come to the country at any time.
On Oct. 16, media reports said that Zelenskyy wanted to visit Israel simultaneously with U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken, but Jerusalem refused him, saying that now is "not the time." During this period, Israel was visited by U.S. President Joe Biden, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, and French President Emmanuel Macron.
Following the Hamas attack on Israel on Oct. 7, Zelenskyy expressed solidarity with Israel and emphasized that terror should “never be given a chance anywhere in the world.”
