King Charles III of the United Kingdom has received Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at Blenheim Palace, the Royal Family announced on July 18.

“Today The King received the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy following the European Political Community meeting at Blenheim Palace,” the Twitter message said.

“The gathering saw 46 European leaders discuss a range of international challenges, opportunities and our common values.”

Zelenskyy, in turn, thanked the King for the audience, noting that the UK remains one of Ukraine’s staunchest allies.

“The United Kingdom remains one of the closest and important allies of Ukraine,” the president said in a Telegram post.

“We value the support provided to the Ukrainian people.”

Earlier on July 18, Zelenskyy arrived in London to attend the fourth meeting of the European Political Community, which was established following Russia's invasion of Ukraine in February 2022. Upon arrival, the president was greeted by former Commander-in-Chief Valerii Zaluzhnyi, who now serves as Kyiv’s Ambassador to the UK.
