Zelenskyy, Stubb discuss Patriot interceptor supply

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with his Finnish
counterpart, Alexander Stubb, in Washington
D.C. on July 28, Zelenskyy said in a Telegram post.
“Russia is suffering heavy losses on the battlefield, and the situation in the Russian economy is becoming more difficult — Alex pointed to our successes with ‘far‑reaching [kinetic] sanctions,” Zelenskyy said.
“At the same time we are doing everything to increase protection for Ukrainians from Russian strikes. I am grateful for a detailed understanding of our needs. We need Patriot missiles every day.”
Zelenskyy and Stubb also discussed broader diplomatic efforts. The Ukrainian president said they are preparing for “important meetings” in August.
Hours earlier, Zelenskyy met at the White House with U.S.
President Donald Trump. Zelenskyy said the two discussed licensing to
manufacture interceptors for the Patriot air‑defense system, as well as
diplomatic cooperation.
