Journalist, writer, publicist. Born 1967 in Kyiv, and studied at Dnipro University's philological faculty, then transferred to the journalism faculty at Moscow University.
He's worked for a notable amount of Ukrainian, Russians, and European publications as a journalist, author, and editor. He's been working with Radio Liberty since 1990, serving as a analytical and public host for both radio and television, and is one of the most popular modern Ukrainian publicists.
He's authored the books Why Medvedev?, Bogorodytsa in a Synagogue, and Prison for Angels. Laureate of the Union of Ukrainian Journalists Gold Feather award, as well as the Hetman Orlik, and was nominated for the Journalist of the Year award in the Person of the Year competition.
