Ukraine needs clear strategy for U.S. support on long-range missile strikes — Wesley Clark
Retired U.S. Army Gen. Wesley Clark, in an interview with NV, addressed what Ukraine needs to do for the U.S. to permit attacks on Russia using long-range missiles.
In an interview with NV, retired U.S. Army Gen. Wesley Clark said Ukraine should frame its requests for long-range weapons within a military operational strategy that aligns with its broader political goals.
Clark suggested that while the strategy need not be public, it should ideally be coordinated with the U.S. and NATO allies to strengthen Ukraine's case for support.
He noted that although Ukraine's desire to reclaim all its territory is legally justified, it should determine whether this objective aligns with private agreements with its allies.
If not, Ukraine should reassess its goals to create a reasonable basis for its requests.
