Debris from Russian drones damages buildings in five Kyiv districts

Debris from Russian drones fell in Kyiv’s Solomianskyi and Dniprovskyi districts during attack on Jan. 16.

Kyiv authorities reported additional drone debris falling in the Holosiivskyi, Darnytskyi, and Pecherskyi districts on Jan. 16, with no fires or casualties.

In Solomianka, debris damaged a car, tearing off its engine and part of the interior, but caused no injuries or fires.

The Dniprovskyi district also reported minor facade damage from drone debris.

Explosions were heard in central Kyiv during an air raid alert amid a visit by British Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
