Eight injured in Russian strike on Kharkiv

Eight people, including a 16-year-old girl, were injured after
the Russian military struck a residential area in Kharkiv’s
Industrialnyi District on March 9, local officials said.
The Kharkiv regional Prosecutor’s Office said the number of people hurt in the attack had risen to eight. “Five men were wounded; two women and a 16-year-old girl suffered acute stress reactions,” the office said.
Mayor Ihor Terekhov said the drone strike damaged several apartment blocks. He said emergency services were still assessing the damage.
Kharkiv regional governor Oleh Syniehubov said the attack
started a fire that engulfed vehicles and apartments on lower floors.
On March 7, Russia struck a five-story residential
building in Kharkiv’s Kyivskyi District, partially collapsing it. The strike
killed 10 people, including a 7-year-old boy and a 13-year-old girl.
