Explosions were heard in Dnipro, Ukraine’s public broadcaster Suspilne reported, as Russia continues to carry out drone and missile attacks on Ukrainian cities on March 4.

Ukraine’s Air Force earlier warned about the threat of ballistic weapons and reported a high-speed target heading toward the city of Dnipro.

Later, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Governor Oleksandr Hanzha confirmed the strike on Dnipro. He said that, according to preliminary information, no one was injured. The consequences of the attack are still being clarified.

Earlier, the Air Force said that overnight into March 4 Russian forces attacked Ukraine with 149 Shahed-type strike drones, as well as Gerbera, Italmas and other types of unmanned aerial vehicles. Air defenses neutralized 129 enemy drones.

Ukrainian forces recorded 19 strike drone hits at 15 locations, as well as falling debris at one location.

Explosions were reported in Dnipro and Kharkiv. On the morning of March 4, Russia also carried out a drone attack on a train in Mykolaiv. The railcars were empty at the time because they were undergoing maintenance. According to Deputy Prime Minister Oleksiy Kuleba, one railway worker was injured. Ukrainian Railways said it had evacuated people from the train in advance.
