Fire at ATB warehouses extinguished after Russian strike in Dnipro

Emergency crews in Ukraine's Dnipropetrovsk Oblast have extinguished a massive fire at ATB food warehouses that broke out after a Russian strike on June 3, the State Emergency Service said on June 4.
The fire spread across nearly 40,000 square meters.
About 140 emergency workers and 40 units of equipment were deployed to the scene, Ukraine's State Emergency Service said.
ATB corporate communications chief Serhii Demchenko told Suspilne that Russia struck the company's distribution center, completely destroying the 37,500-square-meter facility. No employees were injured, as they had taken shelter during the attack.
According to Demchenko, the company's losses are expected to amount to hundreds of millions of hryvnias.
The distribution center supplied goods to about 300 stores in Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia oblasts, he said.
Russian forces launched two attacks on Dnipro on the evening of June 3. Regional authorities reported a major fire at food warehouses in the Dnipro district. Eight people were injured.
Dnipro Mayor Borys Filatov confirmed that ATB warehouses were among the targets.
Authorities also reported a strike on a Nova Poshta innovation terminal.
