Kellogg: invading Ukraine would end Lukashenko’s regime

Ukraine, Belarusian dictator Alexander
Lukashenko will doom his regime, former U.S. special envoy Keith Kellogg said
on May 29.
Speaking at the Black Sea Security Forum in Odesa, Kellogg said he personally met with Lukashenko during his time in the second Trump administration. He noted that Lukashenko remains close to Russian dictator Vladimir Putin, but warned any decision to attack Ukraine would carry serious consequences.
"We met with Lukashenko when determining the [U.S.] political position,” he said.
“And Lukashenko is indeed close to Putin, but if he decides to attack Ukraine, it will be a catastrophe for him," Kellogg said. He added that such an escalation "would be the last day for Lukashenko."
Lukashenko said on May 12 that he planned a limited
mobilization of specific military units to “prepare for possible combat
operations.” He also claimed Belarus was “committed to peace.”
The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.
