Over 360 UAVs in daytime Russian attack

During a daytime Russian drone
attack on April 1, Ukraine’s air defenses shot down or suppressed 345 enemy
UAVs as of 6 p.m. Kyiv time, the Ukrainian Air Force said.
The officers said more than 360 strike drones attacked between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m., about 250 of them Iranian-designed Shahed models. Counting the nighttime attack, the military said, more than 700 strike drones were used in the 24-hour period from 6 p.m. March 31 to 6 p.m. April 1.
“During the day, the vast majority of drones approached from the southeast, heading west. Unfortunately, the Russian terrorist attack resulted in 14 hits and injuries,” the statement said.
Earlier, the Air Force said Russia launched 339 strike
drones overnight into April 1, roughly 200 of them Shaheds. Air defenses
destroyed or suppressed 298 of those. Still, 20 strike drones hit 11 locations,
and debris from downed drones fell at five other locations.
