Odesa’s Privoz market damaged in Russian attack — photos
The historic Privoz market in Odesa was seriously damaged in a Russian drone strike, local officials said on July 24.
An NV correspondent showed what the market looks like after a massive Russian strike on the city.
Photos reveal extensive damage to building facades and structures overall.
Earlier, Ukraine’s State Emergency Service reported that the well-known Privoz market in central Odesa caught fire following an overnight drone attack by Russian invaders.
Odesa regional governor Oleh Kiper said the enemy launched a large-scale drone assault on the city.
Despite the active work of air defenses, civilian infrastructure sustained damage. Several fires broke out across the city, including on two floors of a residential high-rise, the roof of a two-story building, shopping pavilions, and a gas station.
The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.
Just as an army needs soldiers, so does a free society need its journalists to ensure that people have access to honest, trustworthy voices to understand the world around them.
For the past five years, The New Voice of Ukraine has been working tirelessly to push back against Russian narratives and defend democracy. But we cannot do it alone.
