Russia attacked Dnipropetrovsk Oblast overnight with artillery and drones, damaging a dormitory and causing fires in nearby homes
Russians launched FPV drone and artillery attacks on Ukraine’s Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, local officials said on Telegram on Aug. 8.
the Pokrovska, Myrivska, and Marhanetska communities of the Nikopol district, as well as Nikopol itself, were under enemy attacks.
It is reported that the strike damaged a dormitory, two outbuildings, two garages, a vehicle, and also severely damaged three private houses. One of the houses caught fire, but the fire has already been extinguished.
Additionally, Russia struck the Hrushivska community in Kryvyi Rih district with a drone. A fire broke out there as well and has since been extinguished.
At night, air raid alerts were announced in several oblasts of Ukraine due to attacks by Shahed drones. Explosions were heard in Kyiv Oblast. According to the regional military administration, three people were injured in Bucha district. Explosions were also heard in Odesa.
In the night of August 8, the Russian army attacked Ukraine with 108 aerial weapons: 104 Shahed drones, various types of loitering drones, and eight high-speed UAVs.
Air defense forces shot down 82 targets.
