Russia launched 154 attack and decoy drones against Ukraine, including Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas and Parodiya unmanned aerial vehicles, Ukraine's Air Force said on June 30.
As of 8:30 a.m., Ukraine's air defenses had neutralized 138 Russian drones over the country's north, south, center and east, the Air Force said.
At the same time, officials recorded impacts by 13 attack drones at 10 locations, while debris from intercepted targets fell at two additional sites.
The Air Force warned that the attack was ongoing, with several Russian drones still in Ukrainian airspace.
Overnight, a Russian Molniya drone struck a parking lot in Sumy's Kovpakivskyi district, sparking a fire and damaging four trucks and an outbuilding. In the morning, Russian forces attacked a gas station in the city's Zarichnyi district.
The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.
Just as an army needs soldiers, so does a free society need its journalists to ensure that people have access to honest, trustworthy voices to understand the world around them.
For the past five years, The New Voice of Ukraine has been working tirelessly to push back against Russian narratives and defend democracy. But we cannot do it alone.
