Russia can launch about 100 ballistic missiles at Ukraine each month – Flash

Ukrainian presidential adviser and radio technology expert Serhii Beskrestnov, known as Flash, said Russia is likely to continue launching ballistic missile attacks on Ukraine similar to those carried out on Aug. 5.
In a post on Telegram, he said Russian forces are capable of launching about 100 ballistic missiles at Ukraine each month.
"By my estimates, the enemy can launch around 100 ballistic missiles at us every month. The current pace has increased because they want to demonstrate that capability. For now, some of these attacks are being carried out using reserve stockpiles. But going forward, I believe the pace will stabilize at around 100 ballistic missiles per month," Flash said.
He added that Russia knows the locations of some Ukrainian warehouses and other targets because the information is "completely public." According to the expert, Russian forces recruit Ukrainians to monitor activity around such facilities before carrying out strikes.
"They recruit a traitor for a few thousand hryvnias to watch what is happening at a warehouse. They monitor truck movements and cargo volumes, then pass that information to Russia, where a decision is made to launch an attack," Flash said.
Flash urged businesses to diversify risks and reduce traffic to their warehouses to avoid drawing Russia's attention.
"If you have a vehicle fleet, for example, don't keep hundreds of trucks in one location. I already see many businesses this morning distributing their trucks across different sites, and that is the right decision because such concentrations serve no purpose. Try to reorganize your logistics routes as well. For now, avoid maintaining large warehouses. This is a matter of survival. There will be more attacks in the future, and the enemy will look for warehouses to strike in order to create shortages of various goods," Flash said.
Russia's mass strike on Kyiv and surrounding Oblast on Aug. 5
Russia attacked Ukraine overnight into Aug. 5 with four Zircon/Onyx anti-ship missiles and 24 Iskander-M/S-400 ballistic missiles. Ukraine's air defenses did not intercept any of them.
Seventeen people were killed in Kyiv and surrounding Oblast, while 44 others were injured. Russia primarily targeted civilian warehouse facilities, while also striking infrastructure and a railway station.
In Kyiv's Holosiivskyi district, an ammonia leak occurred after a missile struck a nonresidential area. Warehouse facilities and other nonresidential buildings caught fire in other parts of the capital. The large fires caused heavy smoke and deteriorating air quality across the city. According to the State Emergency Service, one person was killed and 15 others were injured.
Ukraine's state railway operator, Ukrzaliznytsia, said people were killed at a railway platform in Brovary, and several trains were rerouted following the overnight attack.
The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.
