Russian aerial bomb attack kills five in Sloviansk, damages Latvian honorary consulate

Russian forces struck Sloviansk in Ukraine's Donetsk Oblast with two aerial bombs, killing five people and injuring nine others, regional governor Vadym Filashkin said on July 24.
Ten private homes, a business and the premises of the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Latvia were damaged in the city.
Filashkin said it was dangerous to remain in Sloviansk and urged residents to evacuate.
On July 23, Russia also struck Sloviansk with two guided aerial bombs, damaging seven apartment buildings and injuring 14 people, according to the regional military administration.
Earlier, Russian forces struck Odesa on the morning of July 24, damaging a store and infrastructure facilities in the city.
Later in the day, Russian forces launched ballistic missiles at Kyiv, with explosions reported in the capital.
