Russian troops shell Odesa suburbs, hitting port and residential area

Russian forces attacked Odesa Oblast with drones, regional governor Oleh Kiper reported on Feb. 24.

In the suburbs of Odesa, drone debris damaged port infrastructure, a private house, and several cars, according to local officials.

There were no reported casualties, and emergency services are responding at the attack sites, the regional administration said.

Overnight, Russian forces launched 185 drones across Ukraine, according to the Ukrainian Air Force.

Air defenses shot down 113, while 71 crashed in open areas. Damage was reported in four oblasts: Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa, Kyiv, and Khmelnytskyi.
