52 out of 71 Shahed drones launched by Russia were downed by Ukraine’s air defense

Russian invaders attacked Ukraine with 71 Shahed drones and various types of simulator drones, with the Ukrainian Air Force reporting that air defense neutralized 52 drones on June 25.

Russian forces launched drones from several locations, including Bryansk, Millerovo, Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, and Crimea.

Ukrainian air defense systems shot down 32 UAVs, while another 20 were either lost in the area or disrupted by electronic warfare in the east, south, and north of the country.

According to Ukraine’s Air Force, the drones were intercepted at six locations across the Odessa, Sumy, and Kharkiv regions.

Earlier on June 25, it was reported that Russian invaders launched drone strikes on Kharkiv at night, injuring one person.

The Russians also targeted Zaporizhzhya, injuring two people and damaging several homes.
