Russians hit enterprise in Chernihiv Oblast causing large fire
Russian invaders struck an enterprise in Chernihiv Oblast with no casualties, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine said on Telegram, releasing photos of the damage on June 2.
Rescuers say a large fire broke out at a production facility following the attack.
Footage shows the roof collapsing and a fire starting after the impact.
Firefighters contained the blaze to an area of 6,800 square meters, with no threat of further spread.
On May 27, troops launched a ballistic missile strike on a facility on the outskirts of Nizhyn, in Chernihiv Oblast.
Later, Vyacheslav Chaus, head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, reported that Russian forces struck an agricultural enterprise in the Novhorod-Siverskyi community with mortars and FPV drones.
On the night of June 2, Russian forces launched multiple strikes on Kharkiv using strike drones and ballistic missiles. Six people were injured in the city’s Kholodnohirskyi district, including one child.
