Russian drone hits enterprise in Ternopil Oblast, sparking fire

A Russian attack struck a business in Ternopil Oblast, local authorities said, reporting a hit on one of the enterprises in the Zalishchyky area on Apr. 1.
Officials said the strike caused a fire, which is being contained. No casualties or injuries were reported.
Ivan Drozd, head of the Zalishchyky city council, told Suspilne that no private households were damaged.
At 11:42 a.m. on April 1, Ternopil regional governor Taras Pastukh warned of a drone threat to the region. An air raid alert was declared at 11:49 a.m.
Overnight on April 1, Russia launched a massive drone attack on Ukraine, including strikes on western regions. In Khmelnytskyi, a fire broke out at an industrial facility, while in Lutsk Russian forces struck a Nova Poshta warehouse and a food storage facility belonging to a retail chain.
On March 24, Russia carried out a large-scale drone attack on western Ukraine. Explosions were reported in Ternopil, Vinnytsia and Ivano-Frankivsk. Ivano-Frankivsk Mayor Ruslan Martsinkiv said a strike drone hit near an administrative building and close to a maternity hospital.
