Russian drone attacks target Sumy gas stations, wounding several

Russian forces carried out drone strikes on gas stations in Sumy overnight on July 15, wounding several people, Head of the Sumy City Military Administration Serhii Kryvosheienko reported.
He stated that Russian forces struck gas stations in Sumy’s Zarichnyi and Kovpakivskyi districts on the morning of July 15 using FPV (first-person-view) drones and Molniya UAVs.
Kryvosheienko noted that a 63-year-old public bus driver suffered severe injuries in the attack and was subsequently hospitalized.
First responders contained a fire that broke out at one of the targeted gas stations, though it caused significant damage to the facility's infrastructure. The full extent of the damage is still being assessed.
Russian forces barraged a residential area in Sumy with suspected cluster munitions on July 14, wounding seven people, including an 11-year-old boy.
Russian aerial bombs struck civilian infrastructure in Sumy’s Zarichnyi district on July 11, killing five people – including a 13-year-old girl – and wounding 43 others. The girl, along with three men and a bus driver, was killed when one of the bombs struck near a bus stop.
