The allocation of freshly mobilized troops across the brigades of Ukraine’s Armed Forces will be reviewed, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on Nov. 26.

According to the president, this will be done to address key requests from frontline units.

“We are addressing the requests from brigades, particularly after my visit to frontline areas,” Zelenskyy said in his evening address, following a meeting with senior military commanders.

“One of these requests is the fair distribution of personnel among brigades. The allocation of people must certainly be reconsidered.”

He noted that almost every frontline brigade is calling for fairer manpower distribution. Chief of General Staff Andrii Hnatov, along with Deputy Head of the President’s Office Pavlo Palisa are tasked with addressing this issue.

“Draft resolutions are to be prepared soon,” Zelenskyy added.
