US still provides some intelligence data to Ukraine

8 March 2025, 01:14 AM

The United States continues to supply Ukraine with intelligence data for defense while halting the exchange of information that could aid attacks on Russian forces, CNN reported on March 7, citing two Pentagon officials.

According to the officials, Washington wants to avoid being seen as a direct participant in strikes against Russia, so U.S. military aid shipments were suspended earlier this week.

They stressed, however, that the United States will continue to share data that helps Ukraine defend itself.

The officials also noted that the satellite internet service Starlink—a key communication link for Ukrainian troops—remains operational in the country.
