Ust-Luga oil berth destroyed after drone strikes, satellite imagery shows

Satellite photos show that one oil-loading berth at the Russian
Baltic Sea terminal in Ust-Luga
has completely burned down, Dnipro OSINT Telegram channel reported on March 27.
The images show the destroyed berth and damage to an
adjacent area with storage tanks. A second oil-loading berth also appears to be
damaged.
On the night of March 25, drones attacked Russia’s Leningrad Oblast, targeting the Ust‑Luga port, Russia’s second-largest oil export hub on the Baltic Sea.
Robert Brovdi, commander of Ukraine’s Unmanned Forces later confirmed that Ukrainian drones had struck the facility.
Drone attacks on Leningrad Oblast continued into the night
of March 27, with new strikes and fires reported at Primorsk and Ust‑Luga.
Drones have targeted the region since March 23, and Russian authorities
temporarily halted the loading of crude oil and petroleum products at both
ports.
