Zelenskyy vows more strikes deep inside Russia next month

Ukraine will “creatively” expand its “long-range sanctions”
against Russia
in June, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on May 19.
Zelenskyy made the statement after a briefing by Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi and Chief of the General Staff Andriy Hnatov.
“This month brought a shift in dynamics in our favor: we hold positions better and deliver more strikes,” the president said in a Telegram post.
“And especially significant is the impact of our long-range ‘sanctions’ against Russia. I have approved plans for our long-range capabilities for June, and we will creatively develop the Ukrainian long-range ‘sanctions’ that showed their strength in May. I thank all our troops for their precision.”
Zelenskyy said he and the military leaders also reviewed fighting near Pokrovsk and Kostiantynivka in Donetsk Oblast and discussed operational planning Kharkiv and Zaporizhzhia oblasts.
On May 17, Ukrainian defense forces carried out the
largest drone strike on Russian critical infrastructure in Moscow and Moscow
Oblast of the war, the Ukrainian Defense Ministry said. Kyiv reported strikes
on a Moscow oil refinery, the Solnechnogorsk fuel depot, and several
microelectronics plants.
The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.
