Moscow’s threats to remove the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) mission from the occupied Zaporizhzhya Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP) amount to “nuclear terrorism,” Ukraine’s nuclear operator Energoatom said in a statement on Nov. 15.

According to Ukrainian intelligence, the Kremlin is preparing strikes on critical nuclear energy facilities in Ukraine ahead of the winter season. Ukraine's Foreign Minister, Andriy Sybiha, called on the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) to ensure the continuous and expanded presence of its missions at all relevant facilities, as reported on Saturday, Sep. 21.
