Bulgaria warns Russian gas flow halt over Gazprombank payments fallout
Bulgaria may halt the transit of Russian gas to Serbia through the TurkStream pipeline from January if Gazprom fails to ensure payment compliance with U.S. sanctions against Gazprombank, Energy Minister Vladimir Malinov said on Dec. 10, according to the Novinite news agency.

Slovakia’s main gas buyer, SPP, has signed a short-term pilot contract to purchase natural gas from Azerbaijan and is considering a long-term deal as it prepares for the potential end of Russian gas supplies through Ukraine, Reuters reported on Nov. 13.
