Additional payments to military personnel from June 1, 2025
Under Cabinet Resolution No. 168, combat bonuses from June 1 include:
- 30,000 hryvnias ($722) for personnel performing combat or special tasks defending Ukraine;
- 50,000 hryvnias ($1,203) for those in military management, headquarters, or command;
- 70,000 hryvnias ($1,684) for first-line or mission-zone troops;
- 100,000 hryvnias ($2,406) for those in active combat zones, recovering from injuries, or in captivity, paid throughout their detention.

The 30,000 hryvnia ($722) bonus, per Defense Ministry Order No. 260, applies to tasks like intensive training, demining outside combat zones, or defending critical infrastructure.

The 50,000 ($1,203) bonus, per Order No. 566, covers personnel in command structures approved by the Commander-in-Chief or General Staff.
Who is eligible to receive 70,000 hryvnias in the Ukrainian Armed Forces since June
The 70,000 ($1,684) bonus, introduced in 2024, targets troops on the front line or in enemy territory, repeatable monthly, per ArmyInform. Although it is called “one-time” in the Cabinet of Ministers' resolution, it can actually be received multiple times.
Who is eligible to receive 100,000 hryvnias in the Ukrainian Armed Forces since June
The 100,000 hryvnias ($2,406) bonus includes rocket, artillery, and air defense units since Sept. 29, 2024, captives and fallen defenders.
A new 1 million hryvnias ($24,057) contract bonus for 18- to 24-year-olds, with 200,000 hryvnias ($4,812) paid upfront, applies to those with six months of combat service as of Feb. 13, 2025, excluding those with disciplinary issues.
Other payments include first-contract bonuses, annual health assistance, discharge payments, instructor bonuses of 15,000 to 30,000 hryvnias ($361-722), and compensation for fallen and missing soldiers, as well as those returned from captivity.
