Ukraine’s Defense Minister, Rustem Umerov, outlined three priorities
for the 24th meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group at the NATO Ramstein
Air Base in Germany.
According to him, Ukraine’s main focus is on:
- Providing Ukraine with air defense systems and missiles for them
- Ammunition and equipment for brigades
- Strengthening long-range capabilities, particularly by
supporting and funding Ukraine’s defense industry.
Umerov added that Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy
addressed more than 50 defense ministers participating in the meeting, clearly
outlining the priorities and goals for Ukraine and its partners.
The Ukraine Defense Contact Group meeting is taking place at Ramstein Air Base in Germany.
