According to him, the reform of Territorial Recruitment Centers is a complex, multi-level issue that cannot be solved with quick actions and requires a “systemic comprehensive approach.”
“Every decision undergoes an effectiveness test,” Moisiuk said.
“So we are currently moving according to schedule. Soon we will begin publicly presenting specific steps. It will be logical, transparent, and technological. Based on the audit, we will propose solutions that will eliminate outdated problems and at the same time strengthen the army.”
On March 30, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Gen. Oleksandr Syrskyi rated Ukraine’s conscription at six to seven out of ten. The current task is to make the process comfortable for citizens, he said.
In February, The Times reported that Ukraine needs about 250,000 more troops to stabilize the front and achieve victory.
On Feb. 23, Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov said work is underway on a comprehensive conscription reform in Ukraine.
“We are currently working on a comprehensive mobilization reform,” he said.
“We will propose a systemic solution to address problems accumulated over the years while preserving the country’s defense capability.”
