The main mosque of the Spiritual Directorate of Muslims of Ukraine, the Ummah, was damaged in an overnight Russian drone and missile attack on Kyiv, Mufti Murat Suleymanov reported on July 31, posting photos of the aftermath on his Facebook account.
"We are unbreakable. We know that we will win because it is a matter of justice. Ukraine has already won. And with such actions, we see that they (the Russian military - ed.) are powerless, they can only attack civilians, they can only do things that bring tears and pain, " he wrote.
“Allah will punish them all in this life and the next!"

Kyiv's four densely populated districts reported casualties, damage and fires after the massive attack that killed at least six people, including a six-year-old boy, and injured dozens of others.
In the Svyatoshynskyi district, part of an apartment building collapsed after being hit directly by a missile. Up to ten people are believed to be trapped under the rubble. Rescue efforts are ongoing.
